Iām a computational artist with a multidisciplinary background in fine art and creative computing. I attended City and Guilds of London Art school where I completed a Masters in Fine Art and Goldsmiths University where I undertook a Masters in Computational Arts.
My work moves between the digital and the physical, and between fine art mediums and computational methods. I am particularly interested in the role of the artist in the creation of art, and I frequently explore the presence and absence of the artist using computing and artificial intelligence. Systems Art underpins my practice, and I use systems-based processes to explore the artist as an intuitive and creative presence, often placing the artist within experimental systems that unite the technological and the creative.
